Community First Bank of Indiana Announces Recent Promotions

Robb Blume, President & CEO of Community First Bank of Indiana, is pleased to announce the following promotions:

Bea Wiles, Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to Senior Vice President. She has 38 years of experience in the financial services industry, and was the Treasurer of Lewis Cass Band Boosters from 2019-2021. Wiles earned an Organizational Leadership degree from Purdue University.

Carlonda Davis has been promoted to Vice President, Human Resources Director/DE&I Officer. She has 4 years of experience in the financial services industry and over 15 years in the Human Resources field. She serves as a Bridges Outreach Board Member, Ivy Tech Hamilton County Business Advisory Board Member, and HR Advisory Board Member for Hamilton County Economic Development. Davis earned a Human Resources Management degree from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. 

Jonathon Malin has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Loan Group Manager for the Howard County market. He has 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Kokomo, a Project Access Board Member, and a Kokomo CEO Mentor. Malin earned a Business Administration degree from Indiana University East and completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado program in 2019.

Gavin Fisher has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Lender 3. He has a dynamic career path including over 17 years in the banking industry. Fisher is a 2011 graduate of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy. He has served as the President of the Indiana Banker’s Association Leadership Development Program, an Executive Board Member for the Geist Half Marathon, and a Butler University Athletic Public Access Announcer for 20 seasons. Fisher earned a Sports Administration degree from Ball State University.

Pete Needler has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Lender 2. He has 15 years of experience in the banking industry, serving in roles in credit, retail, and commercial lending departments. Needler earned a Marketing degree from Anderson University, where he was a part of the Anderson University Football Team.

Zack Gabriel, Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. He has worked in the banking industry since 2015. Gabriel graduated from Butler University with a Finance and Marketing degree.

Janelle Campbell has been promoted to Vice President, Residential Mortgage Sales Manager. She joined the Community First Bank Mortgage Department in 2015 and has 5 years of experience as a REALTOR. She is a 2017 Graduate of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy. She also has served as the Chairwoman for the Westfield Chamber of Commerce, Vice President and Founding Board Member for Women of Westfield, President of Westfield Youth Assistance Program, and Events Chair for the Westfield Mayor’s Yellow Tie Gala. Campbell earned her Business Management degree from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.

Todd Lowe has been promoted to Vice President, Residential Mortgage Operations Manager. He has 33 years of experience in the financial services industry. He served as Treasurer for Galveston Youth League/Lewis Cass Youth League, and is the current Treasurer for Anoka United Methodist Church Trustees and Anoka United Methodist Church KP Class Sunday School Class. Lowe earned a Financial Planning and Counseling degree from Purdue University.

Slater Young, Mortgage Loan Originator, has been promoted to Bank Officer. He has worked in the financial services industry since 2019. Young serves as a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity of the Kokomo Community.

Richard Candelaria, Mortgage Junior Underwriter, has been promoted to Bank Officer. He has 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a Mentor with the Project 30 Program for Bridges Outreach and a member of the 2021-2022 Leadership Kokomo cohort (through which he also serves as a Guest Board Member for Bridges Outreach). Candelaria earned degrees in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Phoenix.

Karen Munsey has been promoted to Vice President and Investment Department Manager. She has 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is a past Board Member and Committee Chair of the United Way of Howard County.

Bart Irwin, Investment Advisor, has been promoted to Vice President. He has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a past Board Member of Bridges Outreach and currently serves at Bridges Outreach, Westfield Youth Assistance Program and Kokomo CEO as a mentor.

Aaron Yoars has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Senior Network Engineer. He has 11 years of experience in information technology within the financial services industry. Yoars earned a Business Information Systems degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Tracy Herr has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Assistant Controller. She has 28 years of experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as the Treasurer for Habitat for Humanity of the Kokomo Community. Herr earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech Community College.

Ashley Pettit has been promoted to Bank Officer, Head Accounting Clerk. She has 14 years of experience in the banking industry and is currently working on an Associate Degree in Accounting at Ivy Tech Community College.

Calee Ozminkowski has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Branch Policy & Procedure Administrator. She has 11 years of experience in the banking industry. Ozminkowski serves as a Bridges Outreach Mentor and a Salvation Army Board Member.

Mikki Richter has moved to the role of Bank Officer, Treasury Management Assistant. She has been in the banking industry since 2013, serving in roles in retail and treasury management. Richter earned an Associate Degree in Architectural Technology degree from Ferris State University.
