Community First Bank Earns Multiple 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards

February 5, 2026 – Community First Bank of Indiana (CFB) has been recognized with multiple top honors in the 2025 Kokomo Tribune Readers’ Choice Awards, earning first-place awards in several key categories that highlight the bank’s commitment to exceptional service, workplace culture, and financial expertise.

CFB was named Best Bank, Best Financial Institution, Best Mortgage/Home Loan Provider, and Best Place to Work, receiving first-place recognition in each category. These honors reflect the trust and support of the communities the bank serves and the dedication of its team members to delivering relationship-driven banking experiences.

In addition to the organization-wide awards, several CFB team members were individually recognized for their outstanding service and community involvement. Carey Waddell earned second place in the Best Teller category, while Mackenzie (Monroe) Monize received third place in the same category. Caroline Jewell was awarded first place for Best Volunteer, and Mark Malin received second place in the Coach and Mentor category.
