CFB Announces Hire of Virgil Kessler, Michael McCulloch, and new role of Calee Ozminkowski

August 27, 2020 – Robb Blume, President and CEO of Community First Bank of Indiana (CFB), is pleased to celebrate the new roles of Calee Ozminkowski, Virgil Kessler, and Michael McCulloch.

Calee Ozminkowski has moved to the position of Assistant Vice President, Training Coordinator/Retail Support Specialist with the Human Resources Department. Calee has been in the banking industry for the last nine years. She has held many retail branch positions, most recently Branch Manager at CFB’s Dixon Road location. Calee prides herself on helping her team members succeed in their careers as well as building strong relationships with her customers. She is a board member for the Salvation Army, mentor for Bridges Outreach, and a recent graduate of the TruU ‘Leader in Training’ Program. In her free time she enjoys spending time her husband Aaron and their son Abel.


Virgil Kessler has joined the CFB team as Vice President, Dixon Road Branch Manager. Virgil has served Kokomo and the surrounding communities in banking for over 30 years. Starting his banking career in 1989, he has served in various roles as regional branch operations management, human resources officer, corporate trainer, benefits administration and local branch management. Virgil attended Indiana University Kokomo studying Banking and Finance. A lifelong resident of Kokomo, Virgil is married with three daughters. He and his family are active members of Family Worship Center of Kokomo. Virgil enjoys building relationships with his clients, working with them to achieve financial wellness. He believes in bringing value to each client’s financial wellness by using his expertise to make their banking experience a journey to success.


Michael McCulloch has joined the CFB team as Vice President, Commercial Lender in Kokomo and the greater Indianapolis area. His commercial banking career in central Indiana spans over 20 years. Michael joined Community First Bank of Indiana after serving over 12 years as a Vice President of Commercial Lending with two community banks in Central Indiana. He attended the University of Evansville on a swimming scholarship and earned a BA in Finance. Michael later received an MBA in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University. Michael has been involved with many community organizations including Elevate Indianapolis, Free to Breathe, Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Center for Leadership Development, and more. Michael is a founding member and currently serves on the Board of Elevate Indianapolis (www.elevateindy.org), whose mission is to build long-term, life changing relationships with urban youth, equipping them to thrive and contribute to their community. He also proudly serves on the board of the Indiana Chapter of the American Lung Association helping to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through research, education, and advocacy. Michael and his wife Kelly live in Westfield, Indiana with their two daughters. He still swims competitively in the pool and in open water races, and he enjoys golfing, swimming, spending time at their lake house, and cooking.

Transitioning Calee into the position of a Training Coordinator and Retail Support Specialist will help us move our vision in the right direction. Virgil brings in years of banking experience as our new Branch Manager and Michael brings in years of lending experience.”
