Community First Bank of Indiana Supports Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

May 5, 2026 – Community First Bank (CFB) recently donated $5,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Indiana in support of critical research and resources for families affected by cystic fibrosis. The effort is closely connected to one of the bank’s own team members.

Jeff Hartley, a commercial lender at CFB, serves as a board member for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Indiana and is deeply committed to raising awareness and support for families navigating the disease. His passion is personal.

“Both of my sons were diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at birth, beginning a journey that has required resilience, courage, and unwavering family support,” said Hartley. “Seeing the strength of Beckham and Brooks, combined with the generosity of partners like Community First Bank, gives our family and so many others hope for continued progress in the fight against cystic fibrosis.”

Community First Bank’s donation will help fund research, advocacy, and family support programs that continue to advance care and improve outcomes for those living with cystic fibrosis.
