The Treasury Department and the IRS have begun the process to deliver the second round of Economic Impact Payments as part of the latest COVID-19 relief bill.

No action is required of eligible individuals at this time. Please see our previous update for eligibility and expected payment amount.

Although direct deposit payments are in the process of being delivered, the initial direct deposit payments will be available in accounts on the morning of January 4 at the earliest. As a reminder, you can view your account balances, move money, and pay bills with our 24/7 online banking and mobile app.

For those who will receive funds via paper check, those will begin to be mailed today and will be dated January 6.

According to a press release from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, “Later this week, you may check the status of your payment at IRS.gov/GetMyPayment. For more information about Economic Impact Payments, please visit IRS.gov/EIP.”
