Community First Bank of Indiana Announces Bank Officer Promotions

January 19, 2024 – Robb Blume, President & CEO of Community First Bank of Indiana, is pleased to announce the following bank officer promotions:

Tammy Burton has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Assistant Branch Manager. Previously she held the title of Bank Officer, Assistant Branch Manager. She has over a decade of banking experience and recently celebrated her 10 year anniversary with CFB in June of 2023.

Kiersten Clifford has been promoted to Bank Officer, Branch Manager. Previously she held the title of Assistant Branch Manager. She has 7 years of banking experience and graduated from Western Governors University Indiana.

CJ Clingler has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Compliance Officer. Previously she held the title of Bank Officer, Compliance Officer. She has 6 years of banking experience and graduated from Ball State University. CJ is a dedicated CASA volunteer and a graduate of the 41st cohort of Leadership Kokomo.

Nate Hasto has been promoted to Vice President, Financial Advisor. Previously he held the title of Assistant Vice President, Financial Advisor. He has over 7 years of experience in the financial services industry and graduated from SUNY Brockport.

Allison Hopkins has been promoted to Bank Officer, Marketing / Media Production Specialist. Previously she held the title of Marketing / Media Production Specialist (non-officer). She has 5 years of banking experience and graduated from Indiana University Kokomo. Allison recently served on the Greater Kokomo Downtown Association Council for 3 years.

Megan Karnafel has been promoted to Bank Officer, Assistant Branch Manager. Previously she held the title of Assistant Branch Manager (non-officer). She has been in the banking industry for the past 4 years.

Ryan Pettit has been promoted to Vice President, Branch Manager. Previously he held the title of Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager. He has 20 years of banking experience and is a graduate of Purdue University. Ryan is passionate about educating our communities about financial literacy topics and is a board member with the United Way of Howard County.

Sarah Pitzer has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Training Coordinator. Previously she held the title of Bank Officer, Training Coordinator. She has 14 years of banking experience and holds degrees from Indiana University Kokomo and Indiana Wesleyan University. Sarah serves as Treasurer for the Boy Scouts of America Troops 528 and 628, and she also volunteers with the Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program, the United State of Women, the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council, and Kokomo CEO.

Avery Ray has been promoted to Bank Officer, Training Specialist. Previously she held the title of Training Specialist (non-officer). She has nearly 3 years of banking experience and graduated from Ivy Tech with an A.S. in Elementary Education.

Jake Salway has been promoted to Bank Officer, Assistant Branch Manager. Previously he held the title of Assistant Branch Manager (non-officer). He has 3 years of banking experience and 10 years of leadership/management experience.

Lainey Schroer has been promoted to Vice President, Director of Marketing. Previously she held the position of Vice President, Marketing/Communication Manager. She has 10 years of experience in the marketing industry, with 4 years of banking experience. She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington’s Kelley School of Business, and she completed the American Banker’s Association Bank Marketing School. Lainey serves on the Greater Kokomo Downtown Association Council and is a 2021 graduate of Leadership Kokomo.

Sharice Williams has been promoted to Bank Officer, Assistant Branch Manager. Previously she held the title of Assistant Branch Manager (non-officer). She has over 12 years of banking experience.
